Things that Need to be Considered During Diving

At the time under the water and enjoyment of the beautiful coral reefs clay .. or fish that there are some dangerous things funny that we will face, such as increased water temperatures cool, power kites, and THE MOST DANGEROUS, among others, WHEN WE ARE DEALING WITH STRONG FLOW suddenly and dive gear THAT DOES NOT WORK AS IS. and this is where peace is needed.

The following are tips and tricks helped if we can be a problem during underwater ..

  1. Drowning: because the ability of the pool is lacking, panic, cramps leg, etc. prevention: WARMING TO DO IT RIGHT and practicing swimming better.
  2. NET FISHING TRAP Diving area is often used by people to catch fish such as sunken ship could cause our air tanks caught in fishing nets are often not seen. prevention: diving knife during want to dive in the area
  3. Shallow BLACK OUT WATER Accumulation or excessive buildup of CO2 during breath hold. prevention: do not do hold the breath while diving with SCUBA, and do not dive more than 4 times (4 times in a row without stopping)
  4. Harmful OCEAN CREATURE Toxins due to bites or stings from venomous marine animals prevention: - Learn about the type - the type of fish and animals and are harmful or harmless - Do not touch the animal for fun we do not know its nature. Leaving JUST A BUBBLE & Taking A PICTURE let alone to touch or cut the coral reefs ... must know AGE IS GROWING CORAL REEFS 1 CM / YEAR
  5. Decompression SICKNES Crookedness on the bone due to diving and commonly known as BENDS or CAISSON. caused by Nitrogen absorbed into the blood and turns into air bubbles and then block blood flow. this is common because of dives conducted beyond the permitted time limit and did not perform the decompression stop time up to the surface (usually done on a dive in) prevention: Surface no faster than the smallest bubble or not exceed a speed of 10 meters per minute and always make time stop decompression dive within. and if worse hurry to recompression CHAMBER to perform maintenance ..

**Note: CHAMBER recompression chamber or commonly called a tool diamana we get a simulation of the same pressure as we are in the depths. there we are given pure oxygen. chamber also used a lot of people - ordinary people to the means of skin rejuvenation. let the skin look more beautiful and fresh.

In Jakarta there are two places that provide chamber:

    1. Hospital on the island of Scouting

    2. Naval hospital costs about Rp. 250.000, - / hour

  6. HEAT LOSS Excessive body heat loss due to the cold water diving area prevention: Use a wetsuit that fit the needs (there are usually berbeda2 thickness 1mm, 2mm, 3mm .. 3 the size it is a measure common in Indonesia)
  7. AIR Embolism / RUPTURED LUNGS Because we hold your breath when surfacing. breath hold diving in is strictly prohibited. when in the depth of compressed air by the pressure around and when the pressure is reduced, the air volume will be enlarged. prevention: Never hold your breath in any condition or even when we run out of air in the tube ... immediately look for our dive buddy / fellow dive buddy breathing and asked for action (an action COMPULSORY assistance where fellow divers to share air alternately) and perlahan2 rise to the surface .. and the most severe immediately went to the recompression CHAMBER.
  8. NITROGEN NARCOSIS Excessive accumulation of nitrogen accumulation when we dive deep. dives are usually conducted over 30 meters prevention: safety dive .. dives done in accordance with the count of time and depth of dives is determined
  9. GAS Poisoning Keracuanan gas caused by the mixing of air inside the tube with carbon dioxide gas or oil compressor errors in the use or the use of pure oxygen while charging the tube. prevention: make sure the air is filled into the compressor instead of pure oxygen, well maintained compressors and air suction funnel is located opposite direction to the exhaust fumes compressor (note the wind direction)
  10. STRONG FLOW the arrival stream can not be predicted with certainty, sometimes it just happens. This is closely associated with the profile that we will dive into the area. prevention:

    1. basic level .. if you still do not dive in areas that have been known to have strong currents

    2. if we have to face the current, we should not fight, because it will be sia2 ... looking for rocks or reefs that we can grasp and hold on until the current calm.
